Program Director

This is the most senior role on the paid staff of RFDP responsible for overall leadership of the organizational on all programmatic and administrative matters. The PD is responsible for Providing overall organizational management and coordination of programs at RFDP -Zambia, Providing direction of programs and policy formulation and implementation, Initiating and coordinating partnerships with international and local NGOs, Donors and government     ministries in the furtherance of the objectives of RFDP, Leading resource mobilization for the organisation and ensuring long term funding for organisation    sustainability through grant proposal development, Continuously improving the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s vision, mission, and goals- specifically, supporting better management reporting, information flow and management and organizational planning, Responsible for organization’s Strategic planning– developing            the strategic plan through the setting objectives and goal, Conducting periodic field monitoring visits to the various project sites, Providing reports to the Executive Board on programme progress on a regularly basis, Managing donor, funder, and partner relations both locally and internationally, Being the overall budget holder for the organization ensuring annual budgets and operational plans are implemented within the agreed budget and Supporting the conducting of board meetings on set intervals.

 

Program Manager

The Program manager is responsible for overseeing the achievement of organizational goals and strategic objectives. S/he coordinates efforts between different projects and managing any one of them as need arises. S/he leads the overall program with strong attention to detail, strategy, implementation, and delegation. The Programme Manager Supports the Executive Director to develop an annual strategy and programme for RFDP Zambia including developing and preparing proposals and budgets to potential donors. Provides regular reports, programme information to the Executive Director, partners, donors and other bodies/individuals as required. Ensures that all Programme staffs are managed in a pro-active and supportive manner to encourage high standards and best practice in all aspects of programme delivery.

 Manage, supervise, coach and mentor Programme Officers in their respective functions to maintain high standards and to ensure close and supportive supervision of staff.

Provide credibility and visibility to local community leaders and engaging in community capacity building and liaison with community leaders and volunteers to strengthen commitment to RFDP Zambia. Oversee daily activities of the organization, Work with management, financial, and M & E team to support organization program delivery.

 

Finance and administration Manager

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) leads all day-to-day accounting operations, with functional responsibility for accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and grants administration. Responsibilities also include production of financial reports; proper maintenance of accounting records; accurate processing of financial transactions; and administration of a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the organization’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), adhere to grants management standards, and result in flawless audits. The FAM supervises the HR Assistant in the areas of new-hire onboarding, and other related HR functions. Assist in issuing timely, accurate, and complete financial statements for all levels, including Advisory Board and management.

 

Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning Officer.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the MEAL Officer develops and coordinates RFDP Zambia’s monitoring & evaluation processes and data, ensuring this provides an accurate picture of RFDP’s Zambia’s outcomes and impact, and ensuring that data is collected and made available in a timely and accurate fashion as required by the Executive Director and other key internal and external stakeholders.

MEAL officer is responsible for Development and Coordination of RFDP Zambia`s M&E and reporting, Manage the collection of relevant programme data and information for monitoring and evaluation, working with other RFDP Zambia staff, partner organisations and local stakeholders to ensure the required data is collected on time and to a high standard.  Lead data collection, by designing, organizing, moderating and documenting stories of change, Manage the preparation and production of regular funder, programme management and internal reporting of key partners, Review and adapt current RFDP Zambia processes to ensure reports are delivered in a timely fashion and to the required quality, responsible for Data quality control and analysis by applying standard frameworks to design research, protocols,  data collection tools/approaches and statistical approaches to ensure reliability and authenticity in all M&E procedures.  Ensure compliance with all in country M&E requirements/procedures and with RFDP’s standard frameworks/programme design protocols and strategies. Responsible for monitoring programme activities, and to assess whether outputs and outcomes are meeting targets.

Program Officers

The Program Officers provides technical support and assist in the implementation and coordination of program activities, particularly for sectoral partnerships, capacity development to local partners, and M&E activities in the target districts.

They assist in the development of work plans, support the team and management to ensure adherence to proposed budgets as well as to build and maintain relationships with local communities. Working closely and under the supervision of the Programme Manager, build and maintain partnerships and relationships with program partners, such as non-profits, funding agencies and community organizations, in order to expand resources, raise funding and educate the public about the work of the project. Participate in the development of project Implementation Plan, training manual and other various standard operational procedures (SoP).Provide support to government and key stakeholders to ensure community buy in and sustainability of the organisation activities.Assist in collection of data to inform and support Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Research related activities. Represent RFDP Zambia at various meetings, technical working groups and relevant forums at district level.

Administrative Officer

Administrative Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to an organization and acts as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries.

S/he is responsible to

  • control and organize office supplies stock.
  • Schedule in-house and external events٫ maintain corporate calendar and book meeting rooms.
  • Manage important and confidential organisation documents.
  • Manage company databases.
  • Provide support to project beneficiaries and employees.
  • Review and update office policies as needed
  • Create reports on expenses and office budgets٫ on a regular basis
  • Manage correspondence (including letters٫ emails and packages) ٫ arrange travels and accommodations.
  • Create reports and presentations with statistical data٫ as assigned.
